Guaynabo is known by many as the city where you can find many restaurants, nightlife entertainment and shops. However, what people do not know is that located at the south of the highest hill in the city, called Cerro La Marquesa, is the Parque Forestal La Marquesa (Marquesa Forest Park): an ecological and touristic park where the family can have a recreational journey while learning about the flora and fauna. This park was opened in October 2008 and you can find facilities for ropeways, variety of flora and fauna, a butterfly garden and aviary, an observation tower, playground for children, laboratory reproduction of birds, among many other things.
The adventure begins at the park entrance where you have the option to start it through a tour inside a train or enjoy the view of the site area via cable car. Continue reading
