Indian Ceremonial Center of Tibes

In the city of Ponce, there is a place with great cultural and historical value, and one of the most important indigenous archaeological sites in the Caribbean.  We are talking about the Centro Ceremonial Indígena del Tibes (Indian Ceremonial Center of Tibes), a center that keeps historical evidence of our ancestors and their journey through our island.  This center is located on State Road #503, in the city of Ponce.  To take part of the tour of the center can be extremely interesting and educating, because not only the center exhibits artifacts that the indians used, but you can also see rock formations, petroglyphs and more. Casa Pueblo

Casa Pueblo (Town House) is an organization that promotes the voluntary participation for the community from individuals and/or organizations willing to develop alternatives for the conservation and protection of the environment, and the cultural resources in Puerto Rico.  It is located in the town of Adjuntas, where it is visited by thousands of people a year who visit the town to learn of its history, purchase its unique products and be in an environment of reflection, improvement, leadership and self-awareness.  Tinti Deya, a founding member of the organization, is the one who greets the visitors with love and patience, and tells the mission of the organization, its projects and the struggles they have went through. Coffee Museum

What Puerto Rican does not enjoy coffee?  Maybe there is a few who do not like to enjoy a good cup of coffee that is very hot and it joined with a light meal.  From black coffee to coffee prepared with liquor, coffee has been very popular in Puerto Rico.

Brief History:

However, what is coffee?  For your information, coffee is a drink produced from the seeds of a coffee plant (Coffea).  They are roasted and grounded to then be mixed with hot water IMG_6159and get the drink called coffee.  The cultivation of the plant is found mainly in tropical and subtropical countries, this being linked to the economy and culture of the country producing it.   Continue reading

Then the “Museo del Mar” or  The Museum of the Sea in Old San Juan will be your best ally.
