Adictos a Descubrir (Addicted to Discover) is an initiative created due to the need of the Puerto Ricans to have a website where they could find information in regards of tourist and cultural attractions in Puerto Rico. After time brainstorming, this special website was made.
So Adictos a Descubrir a Puerto Rico was born, a blog whose mission is to serve as a platform, not only for Puerto Ricans, but also for any tourists that visit our Enchanted Island to know the attractions so they can discover the beauty of our island, learn our culture and taste our cuisine through the experiences we share. We want to be an education platform that enrich the knowledge of our followers in regards of our histories and what makes us a happy population. That is our vision and it is something that we will be working for. Our primary goal is to be the preferred option when it comes to looking for information about a piece of land that is an unknown to many, but for others it means everything.
In this website, you can find our view of restaurants that we have visited: from hole-in-the wall restaurants, to food trucks and elegant restaurants. When it comes to food, we do not limit ourselves; it is the love of our cuisine that unites us. You can also find information in regards of tourism sites and natural beauty; tips for how to spend an unforgettable day; routes to go on an adventure and more. We are like you, like another person in our island. This means that the restaurants we have visited and the adventures we have participated in are done anonymously, so that the experience is not influenced. That guarantees us the power to offer all of you an unforgettable experience, just like ours.

Littles details of our Island:
Puerto Rico is an island that measures 100 x 35, located in the Caribbean that also includes Culebra, Vieques and Isla de Mona as territory that belongs to Puerto Rico and its climate is tropical, thus having many natural beauty. We have many mountains, with La Cordillera Central, as one of the main mountains; we have an extensive cave system composed of the Camuy Caverns, Cueva Soberto (Straw Cave), Cueva Ventana (Window Cave), among others. We have the only subtropical US National Forest, El Yunque, and over 50 rivers that crosses the island from coast to coast, as well we have the world’s largest radio telescope in Arecibo. We have fantastic restaurants that offers the local cuisine, pristine beaches, lakes, theme parks and among other great benefits. What else can you ask for?
For those who visit our beautiful island, we would like to kindly remind you that our currency is the United States dollar and, even though our primary language is Spanish, we can also speak English. We are people who are willing to help others and, most importantly, celebrate EVERYTHING! So, if you have a place in mind for sightseeing then please stay in our Enchanted Island, Puerto Rico.
